I am a British trained teacher working in an Auckland primary school. Prior moving to New Zealand in 2010 I taught for 5 years in Camden, London as a Reception and Year 1 teacher, where I was responsible for leading ICT, PE and Literacy. After emigrating to New Zealand I secured a position in a large decile 10 primary school on the edge of Remuera, where I led the New Entrants Team for 3 years before becoming the Year 2 Team Leader in 2014. I am now the Assistant Principal and Year 2 class teacher (0.6). As part of my current role I am responsible for Gifted and Talented Education and Literacy.
